When Place Matters
“There’s no place like home.” This is the last line of sentiment expressed in John Howard Payne’s 1822 song, “Home Sweet Home.” A sentiment that has lived on not only in song, but in books and theatre – a socially defined ascription to a sense of place, security and indeed, belonging. Despite the constant jeremiads, manufacturing in this country does remain possible, and A D Coote & Co is a prime example, even if the company does use overseas facilities as a top-up.
Innovative Travel
Eighteen years ago the Corporate Travel Management (CTM) team set out to provide an alternative to the impersonal, one-solution-fits-all travel management companies clogging the market. “Ten years ago every large company in Australia that wanted to use a travel manager was stuck with four or five global players,” CTM Founder and CEO Jamie Pherous reports.
